Keynote for Annual Membership Meeting: Chivalry & the Augustan Society: Ancient & Modern Traditions

The keynote presentation for our Annual Membership Meeting, this talk will share how both ancient and modern chivalry have been intrinsic to the founding and progress of the Augustan Society. Cdr. Hoffmann is the Chair of the Chivalry Committee and editor of the soon-to-be-updated "Guide to Chivalry." The talk is free and open to the public.

About the Speaker:

Cdr. Nicholas Hoffmann, OAE, is a naval officer with an academic background in philosophy and European history. He holds leadership positions in several historical, lineage, and academic societies.

As a longtime Augustan member and scholar, Cdr. Hoffmann serves as the Chair of the Society’s Chivalry Committee. He is also the Editor of the soon-to-be-updated Guide to Chivalry.

He has been admitted into multiple chivalric orders in both Europe and Asia, and is an accomplished writer, speaker, leader, and active member of multiple chivalric, professional, and fraternal organizations.
