The Augustan Omnibus

An International Journal of Chivalry, Genealogy, Heraldry, History, Royalty, and Nobility

The Augustan Omnibus is the Society’s semiannual scholarly publication, dedicated to the study of heraldry, genealogy, chivalry, nobility, and historical inquiry.

In an age of quick summaries and disposable media, the Omnibus is intentionally different: carefully composed, edited, and preserved. Building on a long tradition of serious historical and genealogical work, the Omnibus serves as a forum for original research, thoughtful interpretation, and carefully edited scholarship for a global readership.

Whether you are a researcher, herald, genealogist, librarian, educator, or lifelong student of history, the Omnibus offers enduring, citable work designed to be read now and kept for reference.

Sponsor the Omnibus: a Lasting Tribute

For many members, sponsoring a page in The Augustan Omnibus is more than an act of support. It is a way of leaving a mark, honoring a life, and a meaningful way to support the Society beyond annual dues.

Each Omnibus sponsorship includes a quarter-page or larger display, often used to:

  • Share messages of goodwill with fellow Augustans

  • Celebrate a birth, marriage, or milestone

  • Display a personal or family coat of arms

  • Honor the memory of a loved one with a lasting tribute

These pages become part of the permanent historical archive of the Society: read, preserved, and revisited for generations.

The deadline for the upcoming issue is January 25.
Design assistance is available, or you may submit artwork following our specifications.

By sponsoring or advertising in the Omnibus, you help sustain one of the Society’s most visible expressions of scholarship, tradition, and fellowship—while creating something meaningful in your own name.
