Lineage Societies of the Augustan Society

Explore Your Ancestral Heritage through Our Historical Lineage Groups

Honor your ancestry, deepen your research, and connect with a community that shares your heritage.

The Augustan Society invites you to explore joining any of our five distinguished lineage societies: each dedicated to preserving the heritage, genealogy, and historical traditions of specific ancestral origins, especially of prominent historical figures such as William the Conqueror, Irish and Scottish kings and clans, Crusader Knights, and Spanish Conquistadors.

What Are Lineage Societies?

Lineage societies are member organizations that require documented proof of descent from a specific historical person or population group. The Augustan Society’s lineage groups are not chivalric orders, but historical and cultural associations focused on scholarship, heritage, and family lineage.

Membership is open to the public. Applicants must submit a membership petition, supporting genealogy, and entry fees. There is a nominal additional fee for review of genealogical information.
