The Augustan Omnibus

  • Peer review articles (2-4 hrs/issue | subject expertise)
  • Write media reviews (1-2 hrs/review | critical writing)
  • Contribute artwork (time varies | illustration/art)

Heraldry

  • Assist with arms registrations (1-2 hrs/month | detail-oriented)

Chivalry & Royalty

  • Recognition services support (1-2 hrs/month | discretion)

Genealogy

  • Review lineage applications (2-3 hrs/month | genealogy)
  • Research projects (flexible | archival research)
  • Research advisor (flexible | counsel public, members, applicants on approaches to their genealogy challenges)
  • Committee Coordinator/Secretary (flexible | track status of applications, answer queries, schedule meetings)

 


 

Leadership Opportunities Available

 

Chair, Social Media Committee - guides Society social presence (3-5 hrs/month)

Chair, Genealogy Committee - coordinates lineage standards and review (3-5 hrs/month)

Dean, Society of Descendants of Scotland - leads lineage group (2-4 hrs/month)

Volunteer Coordinator - coordinates volunteer onboarding, scheduling, and training (4-6 hrs/month)

Education Coordinator  -  plans and organizes educational programming, develops and distributes curriculum (4-6 hrs/month)
