Maiden Arms: Brush dimidiating Jorkin. Brush: Gules a St. Andrew's cross, and in base a fleur-de-lys all within a demi-bordure gold, a lion passant sexed, double-queued of the last, gorged of a coronet of ten pearls, langued and armed argent. Jorkin: Azure, a chevron between three fleurs-de-lys argent, on a chief of the second, two coronets each composed of five fleurs-de-lys of the first. On an inescutcheon or, the Augustan eagle sable, for the difference. Crest: Out of a crest coronet composed of fleurs-de-lys or, five visible, a demi-lion rampant double-queued gules, gorged with an antique coronet argent, langued of the last, and tearing asunder his chains, with alternating links or and argent. Mantling: Gules doubled or. Motto: (above) Freedom.
