I wish to join with The Augustan Society, Inc., its officers, and its members, in assisting with the historical preservation, publication, and other programs undertaken by the Society as best I am able.

I am willing to help support the Society's library, museum, historic preservation activities, and public education programs, as well as other programs that may be undertaken from time to time. I recognize that as a member I will be called upon to offer specific support in the form of original articles, artwork, book reviews, preservation work, research assistance, or financial support. I agree to help my fellow members in their efforts on behalf of the Society, in their personal research, and to offer support for related programs well run by other organizations.

I promise to uphold the traditions of chivalry and to promote chivalric ideals in society.

	The Hereditary Order of Armigerous Augustans (for those who are armigerous).
	The Order of the Augustan Eagle (for those who are both members of the OAA, and hold the Fellowship of the Society).
	The Noble Company of the Rose (a noble corporation bringing together those members who are Knights and Ladies in Orders).
	The Society of Descendants of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem (for those who either descend from a Crusader or are members of an Order which fought in the Crusades).
	The Order of the Conqueror (for those who can prove descent from William the Conqueror).
	The Order of the Conqueror’s Companions (for those who can prove descent from a companion of William the Conqueror).
	Order of Descendants of Ireland (for those who can prove descent either from a king or high king of Ireland or can prove Irish ancestry).
	Order of Descendants of Scotland (for those who can prove Scottish ancestry).
	The Octavian Society (the “sister” Society of The Augustan Society, Inc., which formerly produced the Journal of Ancient & Medieval Studies).

Note: sub-groups using the title “order” are not and do not claim to be orders of chivalry.

Petitions received from 1st April of any year will not renew annual membership until July of the following year. Life membership fees are set on an actuarial basis. An option to convert to Life membership will be offered at annual renewal.
